The Ministry of Housing once again highlighted the Mi Casa Ya program, a policy aimed at guaranteeing solutions to homes throughout the national territory.
This year, the Ministry has assigned a total of 18,172 subsidies worth $554,271 million, and 15,468 coverage requests have been received. Of these requests, 5,954 correspond to priority interest housing (VIP) and 9,514 to social interest housing (VIS).

With the addition of one billion pesos to the budget of this Ministry, an additional 75,000 subsidies will be secured to meet the objectives set for this year. The Minister of Housing, City and Territory, Catalina Velasco Campuzano, highlights that the country has gone from an average of 33,000 subsidies between 2018 and 2020 to the guarantee of 50,000 annual subsidies between 2023 and 2026.
