This visit is linked to his previous stay in Punta del Este, where he was also invited by Rodríguez and his wife Verónica Lozano to the Yellow Rose ranch, where he enjoyed polo matches.
The friendship between “Corcho” Rodríguez and Depp is said to have started thanks to a mutual photographer friend, Ross Halfin, known for his portraits of rock icons. They met last year during the Rome and San Sebastián festivals, at the premiere of the film Modi, directed by Depp.
In addition to their personal connection, Depp and Rodríguez maintain a commercial relationship, as Corcho is in charge of distributing Depp‘s movie in Latin America.
